  • Dr. Tarantino offers comprehensive 60-minute annual physical exams designed to focus on prevention, long-term health, and personalized care. During this visit, she reviews recommended age- and risk-appropriate screening tests and discusses lifestyle changes or preventive measures that can help improve your overall health and well-being.

Your annual physical includes a detailed review of your medical history, family history, and lifestyle habits, medications, along with an EKG If needed, and thorough physical examination and a comprehensive body composition scan using the InBody 580. This advanced analysis evaluates your body’s core components—fat, protein, minerals, and body water—providing a more accurate picture of your health than traditional measurements such as weight or BMI alone. It also allows for precise tracking of changes in fat mass, lean muscle mass, and body fat percentage over time.

With traditional insurance, annual physicals are generally limited to routine preventive screenings and are not intended to address separate or complex concerns. However, as part of Direct Primary Care (DPC), you have the time and flexibility to also discuss health concerns, without rushing, restrictions, or copays.
