During regular business hours, you may call the office, message us through the Spruce Health app, or text us for immediate assistance.
Please note: text messages are not HIPAA compliant.

NON-URGENT MESSAGES:
For non-urgent concerns, please use the Elation portal for secure messaging. Our staff monitors messages throughout the day and will relay them to Dr Tarantino. You can expect a response within 24 business hours.

AFTER-HOURS & EMERGENCIES:

  • True emergencies: Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

  • Urgent (non-emergency) after-hours concerns and after 10:00 PM:
    Call the office to be connected to the nurse help line after hours, Dr Tarantino, or a covering physician.

  • To reach Dr Tarantino directly after hours:
    I do my best to monitor Spruce direct messages after hours until 10:00 PM and will respond as soon as possible based on urgency. To maintain balance between patient care and family time, I ask that after-hours contact be reserved for urgent concerns only.
